Specialised health service for diagnosing and managing allergic diseases.
Allergic disease are the most chronic health conditions globally. Allergies can have significant impacts on your health and wellbeing - we want to help.
Gastro-intestinal symptoms are not always allergy related. We recommend discussing food intolerances with your GP in the first instance.
We do not provide acute or emergency services. If you're experiencing urgent symptoms, please contact your GP immediately.
The South Island Allergy Service provides specialised assessment, diagnosis, and management of allergic diseases affecting people aged 5 years and over.
We can also offer ongoing management of desensitisation treatments where there have been commenced at other centres.
We accept both referrals from your family doctor and self-referrals.
In order to enable our clinical team to fully understand your needs; it is essential that all new patients are asked to complete a questionnaire.
Our clinic is open from Monday to Thursday.
