Welcome to South Island Allergy Service
Our regular hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday through to Thursday.
We are an exciting and dynamic clinic located in Christchurch. We share the same facilities as Riccarton Clinic Medical Centre, and our staff have credentials from that organisation.
Open year-round to cater to those suffering from hay fever (allergic rhinitis), food allergies, and skin allergy disorders. We are committed to providing high-quality private-sector services for diagnosing and managing allergens.
Our services cater for adults and children over five years old who can handle the nature of the testing, either referred by your GP or self-referred. Children under this age should see their doctor in the first instance. Your doctor will refer your child to a Paediatrician if required.
To make an appointment, please email us at admin@allergyservice.co.nz. You will be provided with our pre-appointment questionnaire. We will then use this to assess if your symptoms are allergy-related and if allergy testing is likely beneficial.
Please note that we do not offer an acute service. Due to availability and demand, appointment waiting times may be up to six weeks, depending on which doctor you need to see. If the matter is urgent, please get in touch with your GP for advice.
PLEASE NOTE: We currently see adults and children over 5 years old without a referral. We do not see children under the age of 5 years old. For younger children we recommend seeing your GP.
